This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Create and implement engagement strategies for the designated region.
• Research, identify, assess, recruit, and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Hematology/Oncology within academic and community environments.
• Initiate outreach to potential KOLs and present partnership opportunities.
• Establish genuine relationships with KOLs through consistent communication and engagement.
• Customize collaboration strategies based on KOL preferences, interests, and audience demographics.
• Provide KOLs with information, demonstration samples, and materials for content evaluation or creation.
• Work alongside Sales to enhance healthcare professional relationships with PharmaEssentia.
• Lead insight collection through individual meetings, small group discussions, advisory boards, and steering committees.
• Keep track of the competitive landscape, treatment protocols, and market trends; report insights and recommendations to Marketing.
• Support and oversee the management of commercial advisory boards and steering committees.
• Develop targeted peer-to-peer marketing materials and messaging that align with brand objectives.
• Review peer-to-peer content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Contribute to the development and training of the Speaker Bureau.
• Spearhead KOL engagement at significant congress meetings.
• Manage KOLs for both internal meetings and external events.
• Monitor campaign KPIs, including reach, engagement, conversions, and brand mentions.
• Track campaign progress, optimize outcomes, analyze data, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• A BS/BA or equivalent is required, preferably in Marketing, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing is required.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology is mandatory.
• Strong scientific knowledge and business acumen are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for fostering KOL relationships.
• Analytical abilities to assess campaign performance and discern trends.
• Creative mindset to develop peer-to-peer collaboration concepts.
• Awareness of industry trends and target audience demographics.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to lead through influence across various teams.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
• Strong strategic and tactical planning, project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of the compliance landscape in pharmaceutical promotions.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time, including some evenings and weekends.
