This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with intricate healthcare accounts to enhance patient access and address reimbursement requirements throughout the care continuum.
• Establish reliable partnerships with providers, administrators, revenue cycle leaders, billing and coding teams, pharmacy stakeholders, and decision-makers within health systems.
• Inform customers about access, reimbursement, payer coverage, claims management, and patient support resources utilizing approved materials and strategies.
• Evaluate reimbursement and access obstacles, pinpoint treatment barriers, and assist in crafting practical, compliant solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding regional and local reimbursement trends, payer policies, and healthcare market dynamics.
• Aid in the implementation and enforcement of coverage decisions and convey changes influencing patient access or account operations.
• Offer guidance on product acquisition and buy-and-bill processes, encompassing inventory management, ordering, billing workflows, alternate distribution channels, and care sites.
• Work alongside Patient Support Services and cross-functional partners on issue resolution, case management assistance, and customer education.
• Provide internal stakeholders with insights on customer experiences, reimbursement trends, and market conditions.
• Design and implement territory-specific access and reimbursement strategies while upholding integrity and compliance.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector supporting Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, Account Management, or similar roles.
• At least 2 years in a patient support capacity focused on specialty products.
• Proven experience collaborating with complex healthcare practices, health systems, and provider networks to facilitate patient access and acquisition pathways.
• Experience in managing strategic accounts, identifying potential access hurdles, and devising solutions that promote positive patient outcomes.
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs and their integration into healthcare office workflows.
• Experience with specialty products distributed through Specialty Pharmacy networks and channels.
• Strong familiarity with reimbursement and product access pathways, including specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, and retail distribution models.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 100 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geographic area.
• Ability to drive and/or fly within the designated territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Capability to successfully complete initial training, including home study for eight or fewer hours daily and forty or fewer hours weekly.
• Must adhere to customer credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
