This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering leaders to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the military airborne communication sector.
• Strategically develop, forecast, and capture new potential projects.
• Foster and maintain relationships with current customers.
• Create and present strategic business growth opportunities, which include market and competitive analyses during decision point reviews.
• Monitor the environment for business and strategic expansion opportunities.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional, cross-enterprise teams.
• Prepare and support company profiles on competitors and potential acquisition targets, including conducting financial analyses.
• Network with senior personnel both internally and externally.
• Act as the primary contact for the organization on various projects.
• Coordinate important matters across organizations.
• Analyze situations and data that necessitate consideration of multiple factors.
• Choose methods and techniques to derive solutions with minimal daily supervision.
• A University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience is typically required.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret Security Clearance is mandatory prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Over 10 years of experience through a mix of military, government, and/or defense electronic industry roles.
• A strong foundation in US DoD CONOPS and airborne communication systems requirements.
• Experience with tactical airborne communications systems within the US Army, US Air Force, and US Navy is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of US DoD requirements, budget, and procurement processes.
• Experience engaging with DoD subject matter experts throughout the acquisition process.
• Familiarity with organizations such as PMA-209, OPNAV, US Army PEO-Aviation, FVL-CFT, DAMO-AV, and G8-FDV is desired.
• Preferred experience as a US Navy, US Air Force, or US Army Aviator.
• Experience in military communication systems, capabilities, and technologies is preferred.
• Excellent professional presentation skills are essential.
• Experience in leading a fast-paced, dynamic team with a focus on global business pursuits is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage but not mandatory.
