This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering leaders to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the military airborne communication sector.
• Create forecasts and capture new business prospects.
• Foster relationships with current clients.
• Develop and present strategic business growth initiatives, including market and competitive analyses, during decision point reviews.
• Monitor the environment for potential business and strategic growth opportunities.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional, cross-enterprise teams.
• Prepare and support company profiles on competitors and potential acquisition targets, including financial assessments.
• Network with senior personnel both internally and externally.
• Act as the primary contact for the organization on various projects.
• Coordinate important matters across different organizations.
• Analyze intricate situations and data involving multiple factors.
• Work with minimal daily supervision and receive general instructions for new assignments.
• Generally requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret Security Clearance is necessary before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Over 10 years of experience through a mix of military, government, and/or defense electronic industry roles.
• Strong expertise in U.S. DoD CONOPS and airborne communication systems requirements.
• Familiarity with tactical airborne communication systems used by the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy is desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. DoD requirements, budgeting, and procurement processes.
• Experience interacting with DoD subject matter experts throughout the acquisition process.
• Experience with organizations such as PMA-209, OPNAV, U.S. Army PEO-Aviation, FVL-CFT, DAMO-AV, and G8-FDV is preferred.
• Background as a U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, or U.S. Army Aviator is preferred.
• Experience in military communication systems, capabilities, and technologies is preferred.
• Professional and articulate presentation skills are essential.
• Experience leading a fast-paced, dynamic team in global business pursuits is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus, but not mandatory.
