Associate Director, Request for Proposals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Create, produce, and submit proposals that adhere to strict deadlines and quality benchmarks.

• Identify RFPs that align with HSAG’s Medicaid, Medicare, and private consulting services.

• Oversee and manage the RFP process for contract renewals and new business opportunities.

• Ensure that proposal milestones and timelines are adhered to and that responses meet RFP specifications.

• Analyze RFP stipulations.

• Develop timelines and templates for proposal submissions.

• Coordinate writing, editing, and review processes involving RFP writers and subject matter experts.

• Conduct compliance assessments for responsiveness, consistency, and cohesive messaging.

• Write and edit transmittal letters, letters of intent, executive summaries, corporate backgrounds, past performance narratives, biographies, resumes, and other proposal components.

• Prepare reference materials and compile proposal documents for submission.

• Conduct final editorial and formatting reviews before submitting proposal responses.

• Evaluate and summarize relevant opportunities.

• Represent HSAG in a professional manner.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the RFP Department’s processes, resource library, expertise compendium, databases, staff resumes, and biographies.

• Be available during all phases of the RFP response process.

• Occasionally work extended hours when project deadlines necessitate.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is preferred.

• At least three years of direct RFP experience is required.

• Experience in drafting and producing RFP responses in the healthcare sector or a related field.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in time-sensitive and dynamic environments.

• Familiarity with reading technical documents, requirements, and instructions, with the ability to communicate these requirements clearly.

• Knowledge and practical experience in utilizing advanced reasoning to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

• Capability to design, implement, and manage effective action plans.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Visio, and Outlook.

• Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to conduct research and navigate the Internet effectively.

• Experience using AI tools such as CoPilot.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
