Associate Director, Regional Clinical Study Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance, management, and mentorship to clinical study managers at various levels.

• Oversee Operations Managers and Operations Associates responsible for regional study management.

• Mentor, coach, and evaluate team performance.

• Collaborate with regional, global, internal, external, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ensure the timely and quality delivery of regional clinical trials in alignment with organizational objectives.

• Contribute to the regional Clinical Operations strategy and be accountable for key performance metrics.

• Assist in the development of clinical trial delivery initiatives and innovative approaches.

• Ensure team compliance with required processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Promote quality standards and engage in proactive risk management.

• Support knowledge management and continuous improvement efforts.

• Contribute to the resourcing of regional study management and assign personnel as needed.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to direct reports.

• Assist in the development plans and recruitment of new talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in clinical operations within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Proficiency in Project Planning Applications.

• Strong leadership and management experience as a direct line manager or cross-functional team lead.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good judgment and discretion in significant matters.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Capability to influence and lead effectively.

• Travel may be required based on business needs.
