This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and coordinate a cross-functional matrix development team along with selected sub-teams in collaboration with the Global Team Leader.
• Create and consistently update integrated program Gantt charts that include dependencies and summary views for both teams and executive management.
• Identify and oversee interdependencies, critical-path activities, at-risk tasks, scenario planning, and risk management strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards that effectively communicate project status and progress.
• Organize cross-functional team meetings, which involve scheduling, creating agendas, preparing presentation materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
• Keep issue logs and risk registers up to date, ensuring that issues are resolved and risks mitigated in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with various teams and Finance to create and revise budgets while managing program expenditures.
• Oversee selected external vendors, including managing timelines, budgets, MSA/SOW documents, and integration of deliverables.
• Assist with Governance and Executive presentations.
• Aid in the planning and preparation of documents for regulatory and health authority submissions.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, processes, and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech R&D environment, or a Master’s/MBA with 6+ years in a similar setting, including 4+ years in project management or a comparable role.
• Experience in managing project teams through IND-enabling activities, pre-IND meetings, IND submissions, and Phase 1 development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in drug development and registration processes, encompassing both early- and late-stage clinical, nonclinical, CMC development, as well as global regulatory interactions, submissions, and reviews.
• Strong skills in communication, collaboration, interpersonal relations, and influence.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and a proven track record in facilitating team decision-making.
• Proficient in applying decision analysis methodologies and associated tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in project management software, such as Smartsheet.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
