This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, and train machine learning, deep learning, time series, Generative AI/LLM, predictive analytics, natural language processing, and image-processing solutions tailored for the healthcare sector.
• Handle large healthcare datasets, executing data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Create APIs and facilitate system integrations.
• Implement and enhance AI models within Gainwell’s current technology infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth integration.
• Monitor, refine, and enhance AI/Generative AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and speed, utilizing MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
• Conduct research and remain informed about advancements in AI/ML/Generative AI.
• Ensure that AI implementations comply with healthcare industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve processes.
• Develop front-end solutions using Streamlit, with the potential use of React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Apply security measures and establish guardrails for Generative AI solutions.
• Exhibit leadership and architect solutions while influencing various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 15 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, specifically in developing and deploying AI solutions.
• Practical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, Generative AI (multi-modal LLMs), natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Strong programming abilities in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI frameworks.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs (such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar) for real-world applications, including prompt engineering, model optimization, and inference efficiency.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps for scalable AI deployments.
• Proficiency in working with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL databases).
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the aptitude to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare AI applications and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS) is an advantage.
• Understanding of business use cases, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to architect solutions while persuading multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with LLMs.
• Familiarity with Generative AI & Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Proficient in LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Swarm.
• Experience with various vector databases and graph databases.
• Background in ML Ops and LLM Ops.
• Experience in evaluating models and continuously monitoring ML/DL and LLM performance.
• Experience in applying security measures to Generative AI solutions and implementing guardrails.
• Proficiency in Streamlit is essential; knowledge of React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
