This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a team of up to 8 Social Media Strategists.
• Establish a standard of excellence for both the team and clients.
• Define objectives for each client engagement within the pod.
• Ensure clients adhere to paid social best practices and Directive’s Social Advertising methodology.
• Comprehend campaign approval milestones and assist strategists in obtaining client approvals.
• Identify challenges during strategist one-on-ones and create action plans to resolve them.
• Develop structure, maintain a consistent rhythm, proactively assist the team, and empower members through clear expectations.
• Manage a team comprising up to 8 Strategists and Senior Strategists.
• Achieve and surpass departmental KPIs, including client growth and goal fulfillment.
• Cultivate client trust and relationships that ensure consistent renewals with senior stakeholders.
• Highlight cross-sell opportunities that align with client objectives.
• Mitigate client churn through referrals, upsells, and cross-sells.
• Clearly communicate results to client contacts, executives, and internal team members.
• Make strategic decisions regarding account direction, growth, and retention of key talent.
• Travel to meet clients approximately once per year per client or as necessary.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a performance/digital marketing agency, with B2B experience being an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management.
• Extensive knowledge of paid social advertising campaigns, particularly LinkedIn Ads and Meta.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and Meta ad formats, including conversation ads, document ads, and CTV.
• Proficient in using LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and similar advertising tools.
• Strong ability to delegate tasks effectively.
• Capable of de-escalating client concerns and proactively averting issues.
• In-depth understanding of paid media principles, including ICP research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
• Competent in analyzing campaign data using Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytical platforms.
• Skilled in driving and measuring results via OCT.
• Proven track record of success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
• Ability to articulate strategy and narrate data-driven stories.
• Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Must be willing to travel to clients roughly once per year per client or as required.
• Must possess established and valid work authorization and reside permanently in the applicable country for global locations.
