This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Formulate a logistics network strategy for 3β5 years aimed at optimizing the distribution footprint for both manufacturing and aftermarket networks.
β’ Execute cost-to-serve and scenario modeling, which includes data collection, analysis, and the development of proposals.
β’ Analyze market trends, customer insights, and demand patterns.
β’ Lead studies on distribution center footprints, including the establishment of new centers, closures, and consolidations.
β’ Prepare executive presentations and develop business cases.
β’ Oversee design standards and decision-making frameworks.
β’ Set network KPIs and implement value-tracking processes alongside the strategic sourcing team.
β’ Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Real Estate, and key business stakeholders on initiatives focused on savings, optimization, and transformation.
β’ Create proposals for capital investments and perform ROI analysis.
β’ Spearhead the implementation of network modifications.
β’ Drive and influence change across various businesses, functions, and geographical locations.
β’ Mentor and lead a diverse team of logistics and sourcing professionals across different business units.
β’ Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous enhancement.
β’ Act as a liaison between logistics, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership.
β’ Bachelorβs degree coupled with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related area with at least 10 years of experience, or if lacking a degree, a total of 16 years of pertinent experience.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in logistics network optimization and strategy, as well as supply chain consulting or similar roles in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
β’ Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain the necessary export authorizations.
β’ Proven experience in managing cross-functional and cross-business unit teams.
β’ Operational expertise in multi-site warehouse and distribution management.
β’ Proficient in network optimization tools such as LLamasoft, AIMMS, Coupa, etc.
β’ Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling expertise, including the ability to develop business cases.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence at all organizational levels.
β’ Experience in strategy or supply chain consulting is advantageous.
β’ Skills in project management, change management, and transition management are essential.
