This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Utilize industrial engineering principles to enhance manufacturing processes, workflows, and overall factory performance at Connected Factory focus sites.
• Spearhead factory automation efforts, which include assessing automation prospects, determining technology readiness, and coordinating deployment.
• Collaborate on producibility efforts and ensure manufacturability is integrated into design, development, and scaling processes.
• Work together with functional and site teams to standardize processes, exchange best practices, boost digital maturity, and promote continuous improvement.
• Mentor and assist sites in adopting Connected Factory capabilities.
• Facilitate continuous improvement events utilizing the CORE Operating System and data-driven evaluations.
• Create, monitor, and report on Connected Factory metrics, KPI automation, Control Tower insights, and digital performance dashboards.
• Coordinate councils, align business unit strategies, and synchronize site-level execution to maintain uniform enterprise standards and deployment methodologies.
• Travel to various manufacturing locations (30%).
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Usually requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or 16 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience in manufacturing, digital technologies, automation, or technical program management.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale projects and overseeing cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, factory automation, or digital thread technologies.
