This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance for knowledge management, external visibility, learning, and technical dissemination across various projects.
• Lead conferences, webinars, learning events, and high-profile technical engagements.
• Develop strategies for events and create technical agendas.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and clearance of abstracts, posters, presentations, and speaker arrangements.
• Manage and direct a team focused on knowledge management, events, external visibility, and related processes.
• Foster staff development and spearhead process enhancements to ensure compliance with company and donor standards.
• Create or update strategies, work plans, budgets, staffing approaches, and technical designs.
• Maintain relationships with donors, clients, government agencies, country offices, implementing partners, peer organizations, and stakeholders.
• Represent FHI 360 at professional meetings, conferences, and strategic engagements.
• Serve as a backup to the Technical Director.
• Capture, organize, synthesize, share, and apply evidence, lessons learned, best practices, innovations, and project successes.
• Develop strategic messaging and create technical and public-facing materials for donors, governments, partners, projects, and public audiences.
• Master’s Degree or its International Equivalent in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences, International Development, Human Development, or a Related Field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in knowledge management, technical communications, global health, international development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of leadership and management experience.
• Documented experience leading large, complex, multi-country projects or programs.
• Experience in an NGO, government agency, or a similar organization.
• Proven experience in leading the technical planning and execution of conferences, webinars, learning events, and strategic engagements.
• Comprehensive understanding of knowledge management concepts, practices, systems, and standards.
• Strong project and personnel management skills.
• Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities and navigate complex review processes.
• Knowledge of donor branding and marking requirements, organizational style standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Project Management (PM) Certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in French or another language is desirable.
• Willingness to travel 10%–25%.
• Must undergo appropriate screening checks, including reference, criminal record, and terrorism finance checks.
• Required to sign the organization’s code of conduct.
