This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the development and implementation of global value evidence strategies for designated CNS, nephrology, and immunology assets.
• Collect, synthesize, and analyze evidence requirements from payers, providers, patients, and policymakers.
• Engage in and show readiness to eventually lead the Value-Evidence Sub-Committee.
• Create and maintain Integrated Evidence Plans specific to products and indications.
• Design and execute global health economics and outcomes research studies.
• Carry out evidence-generation studies in collaboration with internal programmers/data analysts, external vendors, and academic institutions.
• Assist in planning and executing publications alongside publication teams and Scientific Communications staff.
• Support medical or payer advisory meetings.
• Identify and assist projects that directly advance economic strategy.
• Assess healthcare economic, outcomes, and quality-related value using clinical trial, epidemiologic, and real-world evidence data.
• Generate data, tools, economic models, product dossiers, and formulary submission materials.
• Collaborate with payers and organizations to pinpoint evidence needs and develop economic tools and models.
• Recognize external stakeholder requirements and formulate collaborative research agendas.
• Exhibit accountability, strategic thinking, patient/customer focus, impactful communication, respectful collaboration, and empowered development.
• PhD or Master’s degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Health Services Research, Public Health, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience for PhD/MD candidates.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience for Master’s degree candidates.
• Experience in outcomes research, including dossier submissions for reimbursement and the design/development of pharmacoeconomic models.
• Familiarity with working alongside consumers of outcomes information.
• Knowledge of epidemiology, economics, psychometrics, and medical writing.
• Strong expertise in non-interventional study designs and considerations in statistical analysis.
• Solid understanding of administrative claims data, electronic medical records data, hospital inpatient data, and patient- or physician-reported survey data.
• Capability to independently formulate research hypotheses, study protocols, and statistical analysis plans.
• Practical knowledge of customer/payer tool development and value dossiers.
• Experience collaborating with and overseeing external contractors and vendors.
• Strong grasp of health systems globally.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for conferences, corporate locations, and stakeholder meetings, including overnight trips.
• Some international travel may be necessary.
• Approximately 10% travel required.
