This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Oversee, develop, and directly lead a team of Field Reimbursement Managers responsible for access and fulfillment across Neuroscience healthcare provider accounts.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy.
• Provide healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers with essential information, tools, and resources to facilitate the initiation and continuation of therapy.
• Promote communication among Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales teams.
• Inspire, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team.
• Direct a regionally aligned team of up to 10 direct reports to enhance access and fulfillment impact.
• Create both long-term and short-term strategic plans and oversee the execution of related initiatives.
• Establish a strong team culture, drive accountability, manage FRM performance, cultivate customer relationships, and meet team objectives.
• Guide FRMs in utilizing data insights and account management skills to overcome access challenges.
• Assist in identifying and resolving access and fulfillment challenges related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, Assignment of Benefit, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
• Develop trust-based relationships and collaborate with internal partners while working independently in the field.
• Manage and distribute the budget in accordance with team goals.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Execute responsibilities in compliance with the JJIM Credo, HCC Guidelines, and FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Report to the Field Director, Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• An MBA or other relevant graduate-level degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare business is essential.
• A focus on biopharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement, or managed markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles, including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes.
• At least 3 years of direct people management experience.
• Proven leadership abilities and performance success in previous roles.
• A valid Driver's License in one of the 50 United States is required.
• Must reside within the designated geography or be willing to relocate.
• Experience in the Neuroscience disease state is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications are preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to navigate complex, high-profile business situations.
• Experience in developing and implementing customer-focused strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions in a matrix environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience within the Neuroscience therapeutic market is advantageous.
• A commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and the application of new tools is preferred.
• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence, promoting responsible AI use and sound judgment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
