Associate Director – Field Reimbursement, Patient Engagement & Customer Solution

📋 Description

• Oversee, cultivate, and manage a team of Field Reimbursement Managers directly.

• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy across accounts in Neuroscience healthcare.

• Ensure that healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers are equipped with the necessary information, tools, and resources to initiate and maintain therapy.

• Promote communication among Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales.

• Inspire, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team of professionals.

• Supervise up to 10 direct reports to enhance access and fulfillment outcomes.

• Formulate short- and long-term strategic plans and oversee the execution of corresponding tactics.

• Establish a team culture, drive accountability, manage the performance of FRMs, and meet team objectives.

• Guide FRMs in utilizing data insights and account management skills to overcome access challenges.

• Assist team members in resolving patient issues related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, AOB, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.

• Cultivate trust-based relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Operate in the field with minimal oversight.

• Manage and allocate the budget in alignment with team goals.

• Fulfill responsibilities while adhering to the JJIM Credo, HCC Guidelines, and FRM Rules of Engagement.

• Report to the Field Director of Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare business is required.

• Familiarity with account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles is essential.

• Understanding of pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes is necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years in direct people management.

• Proven leadership skills and successful performance in previous roles.

• A valid Driver's License from one of the 50 United States is required.

• Must reside within the designated area or be willing to relocate.

• An MBA or other relevant graduate-level degree is preferred.

• A concentration in biopharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement, or managed markets is preferred.

• Experience in the Neuroscience disease state or therapeutic market is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate high-profile, complex business situations.

• Experience in developing and implementing customer-focused strategies.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional matrix environment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.

• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence, promoting responsible AI use and sound judgment, is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
