Associate Director, Field Medical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Propel the enhancement of Field Medical capabilities, platforms, and processes, encompassing virtual capabilities, AI, engagement planning, CRM management, global data enablement, content management, and reporting.

• Oversee Field Medical sizing, alignments, and territory management initiatives.

• Transform Field Medical data into actionable insights.

• Direct the FMSO India team to achieve exemplary operational standards.

• Evaluate technologies, data, processes, and industry trends to uncover opportunities for optimizing the field operations strategy.

• Collaborate with field medical teams to implement a therapeutic-area focus and lead territory sizing and structural adjustments aligned with priorities across business units and global affiliates.

• Uphold service levels regarding timeliness, performance, and quality.

• Collaborate across Field Operations and spearhead project execution.

• Take ownership of performance and outcomes related to FMSO capabilities.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and local laws and regulations regarding Field Medical.

• Introduce and facilitate innovative technologies and capabilities for present and future field operations, emphasizing AI across various workstreams.

• Prioritize and efficiently deliver platform roadmaps, articulate requirements, and conduct business user testing.

• Act as the system owner and business subject matter expert for Field Medical platforms.

• Provide knowledge and training support for designated platform users.

• Represent the business in system governance and prioritization discussions.

• Integrate user feedback into the development and implementation of tools and services.

• Ensure that assigned platforms maintain operational stability and are continuously improved in collaboration with Tech@Lilly.

• Report directly to the Executive Director, Global Field Medical Operations and Capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 3 years of direct experience supporting field operations, including field structure operations, engagement planning, and reporting.

• Prior experience with Field Medical platforms, processes, and data products, such as CRM, Field Insights, H1, and AI integration.

• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Proven success in influencing without authority and delivering results through others.

• Demonstrated capability to devise and implement innovative solutions.

• Strong learning agility.

• Previous successful experience in field operations.

• Experience providing operational and alignment support to field teams.

• Strong analytical mindset.

• Business-enabling approach to work.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
