Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs – Senior Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and maintain enduring scientific relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).

• Conduct KOL and treatment center mapping along with scientific profiling.

• Serve as the main point of contact for company-sponsored clinical trials, real-world studies, managed access programs, and investigator-initiated studies.

• Collaborate on the creation of the US Medical Plan and execute regional key initiatives.

• Strategize and implement medical engagement for designated customers within a specific territory.

• Collect insights regarding healthcare professional (HCP) educational requirements to inform medical strategy.

• Formulate a regional medical action plan that aligns with global and national medical objectives.

• Assist with scientific publications and patient-centered activities.

• Represent Pierre Fabre Medical Affairs in the field for the Medical Innovative Oncology portfolio.

• Act as the scientific resource for HCP inquiries and clinical trial information.

• Provide medical and scientific support to internal teams.

• Review promotional and non-promotional materials for medical accuracy when necessary.

• Assist internal Medical functions while adhering to Medical Affairs protocols.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as required by the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (such as PharmD, PhD, or MD).

• At least 3 years of experience in MSL, Medical Affairs, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

• Preferred experience with established relationships with KOLs and institutions in the field of Hematologic Malignancies.

• Strong clinical and scientific knowledge in oncology, hematology, or cell therapy.

• Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization involving multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a capacity to build and maintain credible relationships with HCPs.

• Capability to comprehend HCP needs and communicate emerging scientific information effectively.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in delivering lectures and training sessions on medical science topics.

• Proficient in working independently, managing various projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.

• Skillful in designing and facilitating medical meetings to encourage peer-to-peer dialogues.

• Adhere to high ethical standards and demonstrate recognized personal integrity.

• Comprehensive understanding of relevant ethics and compliance standards within the industry.

• Residency in the designated territory.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned geographical area.
