This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee project initiation, preliminary scoping, and solution definition for new digital projects.
• Define objectives, confirm problem statements, and establish feasible scope and delivery strategies in collaboration with SELs, architects, and business partners.
• Evaluate ambiguous requirements and identify early risks, constraints, and impacts across teams.
• Create foundational delivery plans, initial resource assumptions, and early cost and scheduling expectations.
• Take ownership of readiness through internal Gates A-C.
• Maintain operational portfolio plans that align with functional strategies, delivery capacity, and sequencing logic.
• Lead monthly Portfolio & Pipeline Reviews.
• Ensure the health of Planview, reliable KPIs, and visibility into risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
• Deliver monthly insights and KPI contributions for CIO-facing Operations Reviews.
• Identify systemic risks and drive cross-functional corrective actions.
• Act as a senior delivery leader across the portfolio, highlighting and resolving risks, issues, changes, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with execution project managers and agile teams across waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies.
• Perform quality assurance reviews and mentor teams to enhance project management capabilities.
• Enhance intake quality, gating standards, planning practices, portfolio visibility, execution frameworks, and operating rhythms.
• Convey readiness, risk posture, and delivery implications to senior leaders.
• Facilitate Steering Committees and leadership discussions using decision-ready materials and recommendations.
• Foster alignment around priorities, sequencing, and realistic delivery expectations.
• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Roles in STEM disciplines typically require 12 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in project/program management, early engagement, portfolio practices, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience in supporting digital or operational initiatives within Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, EH&S, or related fields.
• Structured analytical problem-solving skills, preferably backed by an engineering discipline.
• Proven capability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and influence cross-functional alignment.
• Proficiency in Planview or similar PPM tools.
• Experience in positions requiring structured coordination across multiple teams or delivery streams.
• Familiarity with applications, processes, and systems utilized across Operations, Sustaining/Aftermarket, Quality, EH&S, and Supply Chain & Planning.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing project management standards, planning accuracy, or delivery operating rhythms.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to implement practical workflow improvements using structured methodologies.
