Associate Director, Digital Integrations – F135 Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Direct the incorporation of AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced analytics within the F135 engine program.

• Act as the primary authority for identifying, assessing, and integrating cutting-edge digital tools, platforms, and methodologies.

• Improve program efficiency, performance, and client satisfaction through digital capabilities.

• Assess industry digital capabilities and pinpoint opportunities to hasten the integration of emerging technologies into the F135 program.

• Shape the program's digital strategy and roadmap.

• Align long-term RTX digital objectives with the business goals of the F135 Program.

• Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive culture that promotes innovation, agility, ongoing learning, and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or a related STEM field, accompanied by 12 years of experience in software development and digital transformation roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity; or an advanced degree with 10 years of experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Familiarity with emerging digital trends, tools, and methodologies, such as AI/ML, digital twins, advanced data analytics, and cloud computing.

• Demonstrated success in leading the integration of advanced digital technologies into large-scale programs and complex, matrixed organizations.

• U.S. citizenship is required due to export control regulations.

• Experience in the aerospace or defense sector, especially with propulsion systems (preferred).

• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or Model Based Enterprise (MBE) (preferred).

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks, with experience as an Agile team leader (preferred).

• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and motivate diverse teams and stakeholders (preferred).
