This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and enhance the Contract Management function within the Enterprise Procurement & Supplier Management team.
• Design and implement initiatives aimed at improving contract cycle times, stakeholder satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Propel transformation through contract lifecycle management technologies, process redesign, automation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with Procurement leadership to establish operational models and resource strategies.
• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of Contract Managers and supporting personnel.
• Set performance expectations, development plans, succession strategies, and career pathways.
• Foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage complex supplier agreements from intake through execution and post-signature governance.
• Ensure the consistent application of contract standards, templates, playbooks, and negotiation strategies.
• Assist in resolving contractual issues related to risk, compliance, business terms, and supplier performance.
• Support negotiations at the executive level involving substantial financial commitments or strategic suppliers.
• Provide advice to business leaders, legal counsel, sourcing professionals, and supplier management teams.
• Align contract strategies with enterprise objectives, category roadmaps, and business priorities.
• Influence stakeholders at various organizational levels and facilitate decisions using clear business terms.
• Ensure supplier agreements comply with regulatory, legal, privacy, information security, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Information Protection, and Risk teams.
• Create governance frameworks and monitoring processes for contractual obligations and supplier commitments.
• Support audit, regulatory, and compliance activities.
• Establish and track KPIs for contract cycle time, quality, compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and productivity.
• Identify process enhancements and implement sustainable solutions.
• Utilize procurement technologies and analytics to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Lead initiatives that streamline processes and enhance stakeholder experience.
• Report directly to the Director of Procurement.
• Manage a team of 5–8 direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in contract management, procurement, strategic sourcing, legal operations, supplier management, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in people leadership.
• Proven success in leading diverse teams and managing complex interpersonal dynamics.
• Experience in negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier governance, contractual risk management, and enterprise procurement practices.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, managed care, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management platforms such as Icertis is preferred.
• Preferred experience in supporting large-scale transformation, outsourcing, technology, or enterprise supplier programs.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space without constant interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
