📋 Description

• Lead the Ex-China Commercial Master Data Management function and promote operational excellence across commercial data platforms, customer data, analytics, and business applications.

• Act as the business owner and architect for commercial master data domains, governance processes, data quality standards, stewardship programs, and cross-functional data policies.

• Establish and uphold master data standards, business rules, hierarchies, data ownership models, lifecycle processes, and stewardship programs.

• Configure match rules, merge rules, survivorship logic, customer matching, deduplication, affiliation management, and hierarchy maintenance to generate reliable golden records.

• Oversee communication preferences, consent management processes, and compliance requirements.

• Develop data quality standards, KPIs, monitoring processes, scorecards, and reporting; conduct root-cause analysis and remediation.

• Document and maintain operational processes, documentation, SOPs, data dictionaries, and process maps.

• Convert business requirements into technical solutions and create datasets, validations, and outputs directly.

• Ensure and validate commercial master data provisioning across Account Planning, CRM, Customer Master, Business Intelligence, and Commercial Analytics platforms.

• Manage daily operations, enhancements, releases, upgrades, defect resolution, and support for commercial technology platforms.

• Assist product launches and business initiatives through data preparation, technology readiness, and data availability testing.

• Perform impact assessments and cross-functional reviews for system changes, integrations, and new data sources.

• Establish and coordinate integrations between CRM, Customer Master, Marketing, Analytics, and Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms.

• Write SQL and support semantic layers, reporting datasets, and business intelligence solutions.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and integrations; implement automated validation, matching, and data hygiene scripts.

• Coordinate offshore teams, managed service providers, and vendors; oversee project execution, testing, deployments, production support, service levels, and knowledge transfer.

• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Patient Services, Analytics, Compliance, IT, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master’s in Computer Science or a related field with 6+ years of experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry Commercial operations or related fields, specifically in architecting and building Enterprise Data Management platforms with direct hands-on delivery.

• Practical experience in implementing and managing Master Data Management solutions.

• Proficiency in writing and tuning match rules, merge rules, and survivorship logic to create “golden records” across Capability, Consent, Payer, Patient, and HCP/HCO domains.

• Familiarity with master data management platforms and commercial data architectures or comparable products.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial data mastering, including identity resolution, hierarchy and relationship management, consent management, data governance, data quality monitoring, and integration across HCP, HCO, payer, patient, consent, and product systems.

• Strong practical SQL skills.

• Experience with cloud-based platforms and technology solutions, including AWS Redshift, EC2, Databricks, Snowflake, and Reltio.

• Hands-on experience with MedPro and OneKey data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and project management abilities.

• Capability to coordinate needs assessments and create comprehensive solutions.

• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and establish relationships across the organization.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills along with solid business acumen.

• Capacity to manage and provision large datasets for high-performance, trusted business analysis.

• Skill in identifying operational weaknesses and executing corrective actions personally.

• Proven track record of mentoring and developing others.

• Experience leading operational or analytics initiatives that have measurable business impact.

• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities for executive-level audiences.

• Preferred: experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

• Preferred: exposure to commercial, medical, or patient data ecosystems.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with commercial data providers such as SP/SD, IQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, Definitive Healthcare, Veeva Open Data, and similar sources.
