This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota, +1 more state.
• Create and update provider records through both online and paper credentialing applications and renewal processes.
• Acquire and assess primary source verification of provider credentials.
• Ensure that current verifications are maintained and renewed as necessary.
• Facilitate the communication of important findings and process milestones to clients throughout the Sanford system.
• Execute daily responsibilities efficiently and with precision.
• Organize work to adhere to regulatory and client-defined timelines.
• Coordinate efforts to reduce redundancy when multiple organizations utilize the same providers.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by department leadership.
• An Associate's Degree is required.
• In the absence of a degree, leadership may consider two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in credentialing, provider services, administrative support, business, or healthcare is preferred.
• Ability to perform daily tasks with efficiency and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Initiative to address customer needs proactively is necessary.
• Effective communication skills and a high level of diplomacy when interacting with providers.
• Capability to manage multiple communications with both internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in planning work to meet regulatory and client-imposed deadlines.
• Skill in coordinating efforts when various organizations share common providers.
