This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Offer both written and verbal consultations regarding intricate life insurance opportunities that encompass wealth transfer, estate planning, business succession, charitable planning, executive benefits, and associated tax matters.

• Evaluate complex client situations and create technically sound, commercially viable planning strategies.

• Collaborate with sales professionals and distributors to clarify objectives and convey recommendations effectively.

• Independently manage inquiries, conduct research, follow up, and maintain communication with stakeholders.

• Act as a technical expert on federal estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, income, and related tax matters.

• Investigate emerging planning strategies, legislative and regulatory changes, and industry trends.

• Assist with intricate legal, regulatory, and compliance issues within legal, compliance, and enterprise risk frameworks.

• Work alongside Legal, Compliance, Underwriting, Product, Operations, Marketing, and Sales leadership.

• Create and review educational, promotional, and technical documents, such as case studies, presentations, articles, guides, and resources for the field.

• Conduct legal and technical reviews of materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable standards.

• Develop and provide education on advanced planning, as well as legislative, regulatory, tax, and industry developments.

• Speak at conferences, study groups, webinars, producer meetings, and internal forums.

• Contribute innovative ideas for market-facing resources that simplify complicated planning concepts.

• Serve as an Advanced Markets subject matter expert on product, underwriting, marketing, distribution, new market, and business initiatives.

• Establish relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead or participate in research projects, working groups, industry committees, and strategic initiatives.

• Share field intelligence and technical insights that support business growth, product positioning, and responsible innovation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.

• Admission in good standing to at least one U.S. state bar.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in high-end estate planning, private wealth, life insurance, advanced markets, tax, business planning, or a closely related field.

• Proven technical knowledge of sophisticated estate and wealth transfer planning as well as business planning.

• Strong understanding of the life insurance industry, including products, sales strategies, and advanced planning concepts.

• Capability to analyze intricate legal and tax issues and translate them into practical advice.

• Experience in marketing or content development, with a keen interest in editorial drafting and creating educational or promotional materials.

• Excellent writing, editorial, project management, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Highly developed negotiation, influencing, and networking skills.

• Willingness to travel to industry and distributor conferences and meetings.
