Corporate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide legal guidance for the commercial real estate services sectors, particularly in brokerage services.

• Negotiate, evaluate, and create contracts.

• Manage risks and offer general legal counsel.

• Review internal shared services documentation, such as leases, vendor contracts, and procurement papers.

• Act as a reliable advisor to service line professionals.

• Assist senior legal team members and business line leaders with research and additional projects.

• Foster positive and collaborative relationships within Colliers.

• Ensure a mutual understanding of objectives and service level agreements.

• Carry out other assigned job-related responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) obtained from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Active member in good standing of at least one State Bar.

• 3 to 8 years of legal experience.

• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

• Strong business insight and strategic thinking, concentrating on practical client advice regarding legal risks.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Knowledge of general commercial law along with real estate agreements and transactions.

• Candidates must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
