This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Lead the assessment, negotiation, and finalization of contract templates, processes, and negotiation criteria with clients.
• Conduct contractual risk evaluations and coordinate with the legal department during country process enhancement initiatives.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions within approved guidelines and adhere to escalation procedures.
• Communicate approved contract templates, processes, negotiation criteria, and client expectations to designated team members.
• Ensure collaboration and quality consistency with contractual terms, processes, and client expectations.
• Identify and evaluate legal, financial, and operational risks.
• Serve as a regional liaison and escalation point with external clients.
• Offer recommendations and alternative solutions for contract negotiations.
• Coordinate site initiation activities influenced by contractual matters with internal functional departments.
• Contribute to departmental change projects.
• Complete regular quality assessments and peer feedback reports.
• Prepare training materials for team members.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent along with relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications.
• Over 5 years of prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract law principles.
• General awareness of business, intellectual property, local tax, and stamp regulations across various regions.
• In-depth understanding of business, contractual, and financial principles related to service agreements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions within established parameters.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
• Thorough understanding of clinical drug development and trial processes, gained within the pharmaceutical and/or CRO sectors.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• Customer-oriented communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in automated systems and Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and impact analysis capabilities.
• Must be capable of working in both office and remote environments.
