This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative for Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring the necessary equipment and products are readily available.

• Offer technical assistance, device selection guidance, programming, and testing of device systems.

• Oversee patients through every phase of the clinical process while educating them about Medtronic products.

• Provide clinical support during surgeries, reprogramming, troubleshooting, and follow-up procedures in hospitals and clinics.

• Address technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.

• Stay informed about competitive products.

• Train and educate physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel on products and therapies.

• Support management and Sales Training by assisting in the training of new district employees.

• Complete necessary event reporting and documentation utilizing Medtronic technology tools.

• Place customer service orders for outstanding purchase orders and product replacements.

• Collect purchase orders for eligible cases.

• Manage inventory, including transactions, cycle counts, product retrievals, and expiration/hold controls.

• Contribute to quarterly goals for district, regional, and national initiatives.

• Collaborate with sales representatives to meet territory and district business objectives.

• Visit accounts to replenish literature and maintain relationships with office staff.

• Utilize Excel, mobile devices, iPads, laptops, and Samsung tablets.

• Manage business expenses and budgets effectively.

• Complete therapy trainings and adhere to relevant quality policies.

• Cover clinical events within the district and occasionally in neighboring districts.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or an Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or a Bachelor’s degree.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

• Registered nurse or healthcare professional experience in a sterile environment is preferred.

• Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care is preferred.

• Experience in providing service to medical personnel regarding product usage is preferred.

• Previous experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company is preferred.

• Clinical experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room, pain management, or home health care is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of reimbursement and the healthcare environment is preferred.

• Capability to use healthcare universal precautions.

• Ability to act as the primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, including weekends, evenings, nights, and overnight travel.

• Capacity to work effectively and independently with minimal direction outside of clinical events.

• Willingness to attend meetings and training sessions as required.

• Ability to wear a 7–9 lb protective lead apron for extended periods.

• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for over 8 hours daily.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, and maintain balance.

• Required close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• A valid driver’s license and an active vehicle insurance policy are mandatory.

• Driving record will be evaluated.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and throughout employment.

• Foreign baccalaureate degrees must meet the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
