Associate Clinical Social Worker – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth sessions to clients located in California.

• Offer compassionate, evidence-based mental health support.

• Work with a diverse clientele, including couples and children.

• Conduct intake assessments and diagnose based on the DSM-5 under the supervision of a licensed professional.

• Ensure availability for a minimum of 25 client sessions and 30 hours each week.

• Aim to build a full caseload within 90 days of obtaining credentialing.

• Utilize telehealth and Electronic Health Record (EHR) tools.

• Collaborate within a clinical community and engage in case consultations.

• Prioritize client care while Thriveworks manages credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Provisionally licensed individual actively pursuing California Licensure as an LCSW.

• Approved as an ACSW by the board.

• Must be pursuing independent licensure and residing in California.

• Graduate from an accredited 60-credit hour program.

• Graduate or post-graduate experience in a counseling environment focusing on treating depression and anxiety.

• Graduate or post-graduate experience in independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor (preferred).

• Available to clients for at least 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly.

• Willingness to work with a variety of clients, including couples and children.

• Capability to assist clients in achieving measurable progress.

• Proficient in using telehealth and EHR tools.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a clinical community.

• Legally permitted to work in the United States at the time of hire.
