This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage a designated book of business within roughly a 3-hour drive radius.

• Develop and implement localized account strategies while maintaining an active Salesforce pipeline.

• Generate leads and arrange or facilitate initial meetings.

• Coordinate appointments and territory activities in collaboration with the CSM and ISR teams.

• Identify, qualify, onboard, and support new accounts through their initial order process.

• Encourage regular ordering, reordering habits, and account activation.

• Expand the pool of ordering providers and eliminate workflow, delivery, and follow-up obstacles.

• Foster relationships with lab directors, infectious disease specialists, pharmacists, and ordering clinicians.

• Conduct consultative, evidence-based discussions regarding Karius Spectrum and Focus BAL.

• Recognize and nurture internal advocates to promote adoption.

• Collaborate with MSL on clinical education in a supporting role.

• Transition sustained-active accounts reaching a minimum of 12 tests per quarter to the overseeing CSM or carry them into an earned territory upon promotion.

• Align performance with regional objectives and document customer interactions in Salesforce.

• Provide field intelligence and market insights to ISR, CSM, and regional leadership.

• Travel extensively within the assigned territory, up to 75% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, or a related field, plus completed sales training or certification from a recognized program; or 3+ years of experience in these areas.

• Proven ability to manage a territory, maintain a CRM pipeline, and execute a field-based account strategy.

• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

• Willingness and ability to relocate into a CSM territory when an opportunity arises.

• Valid driver's license.

• Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills when engaging with clinical and lab audiences.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently.

• Ability to coordinate across functions with ISR, CSM, and MSL partners.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities in a dynamic, high-growth commercial environment.
