Associate Clinical Consultant, Clinical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Assist clients and patients in the New Haven, CT region

• Showcase the value and significance of the Impella® product range to physicians and hospital personnel

• Provide counsel to Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons regarding patient selection

• Collaborate on training initiatives and participate in implant procedures

• Offer thorough guidance on the correct usage of Impella® devices

• Enhance patient outcomes through education and interaction with medical staff, which includes clinical demonstrations and ongoing training for both new and existing accounts

• Gather clinically pertinent data, conduct outcome reviews with clients, and share activities with team members and sales counterparts

• Cultivate a deep understanding of products, therapies, and applications

• Advise physicians and medical staff on suitable use and applications

• Employ Integrity Selling to transform care standards and promote Impella usage

• Arrange one-on-one meetings and discussions with physicians

• Organize dinner programs for physicians and staff with high attendance and valuable content

• Work together with sales counterparts on awareness initiatives and franchise activities

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support experience in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab, or Cardiovascular OR

• At least 2 years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies used in the cardiovascular field (Clinical Consultant requirement)

• Proven ability to advance the sales process with customers is essential

• Ability to function effectively within a team environment is required

• Willingness to be on call for urgent patient care

• Experience in delivering demonstrations and successful training sessions

• Capability to travel 50% within the designated territory

• Perform duties and responsibilities in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device sector

• Preferably possess hands-on Impella support experience

• Experience as an Abiomed per diem is a plus

• RN License is highly preferred

• Experience with ECMO

• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to advocate effectively with physicians

• Experience in delivering clinical training
