This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Provide support to clients and patients in the New Haven, CT region.
• Illustrate the significance and influence of the Impella® product range to physicians and hospital personnel.
• Guide Interventional Cardiologists and Surgeons in selecting appropriate patients.
• Collaborate on training initiatives and participate in implant procedures.
• Offer thorough guidance on the proper application of Impella® devices.
• Enhance patient outcomes through education and interactions with medical staff, including clinical demonstrations and ongoing training for both new and established accounts.
• Gather clinically significant data and perform outcome evaluations with clients.
• Share activity updates with team members and sales associates.
• Gain a solid understanding of products and therapies, while developing a comprehensive knowledge of their uses.
• Advise physicians and medical personnel on the correct application and usage.
• Implement Integrity Selling techniques to elevate the standard of care and promote Impella usage among physicians.
• Arrange one-on-one meetings and conversations with physicians.
• Organize dinner programs for physicians and staff, ensuring high attendance and valuable content.
• Work alongside sales counterparts on awareness initiatives and franchise-related activities.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct RN/NP/PA or Regulatory Technician patient support in an ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab, or Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.
• At least 2 years of commercial sales experience related to products and technologies used in the cardiovascular field (Clinical Consultant requirement).
• Capability to advance the sales process with clients is essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team is necessary.
• Willingness to be on call for urgent patient care is required.
• Proven experience in delivering demonstrations and successful training sessions.
• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory.
• Perform duties in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.
• Hands-on experience with Impella support is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as an Abiomed per diem is preferred.
• RN License is strongly preferred.
• ECMO experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to advocate effectively with physicians.
• Experience in providing clinical training is desirable.
