Associate Clinical Account Specialist – Electrophysiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Offer expert clinical assistance to physicians and healthcare providers regarding the safe and effective utilization of the CARTO 3 three-dimensional mapping system in Electrophysiology and operating room suites.

• Provide specialized knowledge on the Biosense Webster electrophysiology product line, which includes diagnostic and ablation catheters, ICE catheters, and RF ablation generators.

• Act as the primary clinical liaison for hospital accounts within the territory, encompassing customer training, inventory oversight, and equipment troubleshooting.

• Conduct educational sessions and training on CARTO 3, Biosense Webster products, ablation methodologies, and electrophysiology procedures for physicians, nurses, and technologists.

• Assist in the implementation of new technologies through peer-to-peer training, customer instruction, and the collection of physician feedback.

• Cultivate account relationships alongside the Product Specialist to enhance business growth and market share objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A University Degree in health sciences, engineering, or business, or a diploma as a Cardiology Technologist is mandatory.

• At least 1 year of clinical, technical, or research experience in a patient care, hospital setting, or medical device background; educational placements or practicums are acceptable as work experience.

• A strong desire and capability to successfully undertake a comprehensive 12–16 month on-the-job training program that encompasses the Biosense Webster product range, CARTO 3 Mapping system, Cardiac Anatomy and Electrophysiology, RF ablation techniques, and Intra-Cardiac Echo (ICE).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with operating physicians and nurses, providing full attention throughout cardiac procedures.

• Willingness to work in an operating room environment, attend live patient procedures, and adapt to variable hours to accommodate patient needs.

• Readiness to travel up to 25% overnight within the territory, sometimes on short notice.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required to operate a company-issued vehicle.
