This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect information and provide risk management suggestions for policy renewals.

• Issue renewals and/or binders as necessary.

• Aid in overseeing all policy activities for designated accounts, which includes endorsements and invoicing.

• Communicate with clients, the organization, and Insurance Company Partners promptly and thoroughly to reduce errors and omissions claims.

• Handle calls and office visitors inquiring about quotes, coverage modifications, and/or new policies.

• Assess acceptability and placement, complete applications or endorsements, and gather premiums when applicable.

• Examine existing accounts for chances to offer additional insurance lines via mail and/or phone prior to renewal.

• Build relationships with Insurance Company Partners and keep abreast of carrier requirements and characteristics.

• Spot opportunities to enhance the firm, business segment, and processes.

• Report issues and discrepancies to the relevant leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to establish relationships with key insurance markets and carrier representatives.

• Strong technical understanding of general insurance market conditions and specific underwriting appetites of insurance carriers.

• Proficiency in analyzing complex risk exposures and existing insurance coverages, and formulating suitable recommendations.

• Ability to collaborate as part of a professional team and foster relationships with other business segments within the firm.

• Exhibit the firm’s behavioral principles and actions that align with the corporate culture.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant insurance experience or experience in a related industry.

• Acquire and maintain a Property and Casualty state insurance license or other state insurance licenses as mandated by the State Department of Insurance; or be willing and able to secure all necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
