Associate Client Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete client relationship from the initial implementation to daily issue resolution and renewal processes.

• Collaborate directly with sales executives on newly acquired groups.

• Manage a portfolio of clients, typically focusing on groups with fewer than 300 employees.

• Maintain contact with senior management-level personnel in client Benefits, Human Resources, and financial teams, as well as assigned broker partners.

• Engage in internal projects that enhance and support the client management team and its clientele.

• Achieve retention and growth within the assigned portfolio of clients.

• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction are consistently met.

• Work in partnership with Client Coordinators, Sales, Account Management teams, and broker partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of prior Client Management experience or equivalent experience in a similar TPA or insurance setting involving client-facing/client support duties.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory, along with 6 years of industry experience.

• Openness to travel (up to 10%).

• Must be results-driven and self-motivated.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

• Proficient presentation skills are required.

• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities are necessary.

• Possession of an insurance license is preferred.

• Familiarity with self-funding and employee benefit plans is preferred.

• Knowledge of benefit-related federal regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA, is preferred.

• Understanding of stop-loss insurance is a plus.

• Remote employees must reside within the continental United States, excluding Alaska, California, Hawaii, or New York.
