Associate Channel Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive growth in electrical product distribution channels.

• Oversee product launches and support strategic line reviews.

• Act as a cross-functional liaison among Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

• Assist with daily booking and billing reports, as well as bimonthly channel and customer reports.

• Prepare monthly business reviews and monitor promotions and conversion performance.

• Represent the business during product and channel sales calls and meetings.

• Communicate sales requirements and product-specific actions to internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to implement product launches.

• Lead cross-functional planning, execution, and post-launch support for launches.

• Define distribution lists, launch kit contents, and shipping processes with third-party vendors.

• Promote trade show placements and customer-facing sales engagements, including road shows.

• Develop quarterly business content and engage in the Sales Playbook process.

• Create and obtain approval for promotional plans.

• Share promotional plans with Supply Chain for SIOP and demand planning purposes.

• Manage Excess and Obsolete sales processes and promotions.

• Collaborate with Southwire Solutions University and distributor/agent locations.

• Assist with targeted training events and develop internal eLearning modules.

• Manage line review schedules and deliverables.

• Own line review strategy through presentations, sampling, and profitability analysis.

• Confirm pricing approvals with Product Management and Finance leadership.

• Identify areas of share loss, manage target account lists, enhance funnel refresh rates, and initiate early NPI discussions.

• Align with End User Teams on sales blitz activities and collect feedback for Product Management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

• 4-7 years of experience is required.

• Master's degree is preferred.

• 8-11 years of experience is preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce is essential.

• Strong relationship-building skills.

• Proficient in sales prospecting.

• Excellent negotiation abilities.

• Customer relationship management expertise.

• Skilled in sales presentations.

• Proficient in selling techniques.

• Strong rapport-building capabilities.

• Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time.

• Proficient with computers and keyboarding.
