This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a segment within a designated divisional product category.

• Oversee and enhance complex assortments with a high number of SKUs across various brands.

• Collaborate with Planning, cross-functional teams, and external vendor partners.

• Formulate and implement financial and product strategies to boost sales, optimize inventory, and explore new opportunities.

• Evaluate business performance, take calculated risks, address operational gaps, and manage open-to-buy budgets alongside Planning counterparts.

• Establish trust-based relationships with external vendors.

• Present strategic assortments to leadership and internal cross-functional teams.

• Perform competitive market research to pinpoint product gaps and identify emerging trends.

• Modernize assortments to adapt to changing client needs.

• Utilize digital workflow utilities, enterprise tools, and AI applications for data analysis, streamline assortment planning, and tackle complex problems.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3–5 years of pertinent experience in Buying or Merchandising.

• Proven expertise in managing product assortments, enhancing profitability, and optimizing inventory in multi-branded and vertical retail settings.

• Strong command of Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Slides).

• Familiarity with productivity AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot.

• Willingness to swiftly learn new technologies.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and independently resolve issues.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Ability to articulate complex strategies clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25–30% of the time.

• Nice to have: experience in managing high-SKU, high-complexity assortments in e-commerce or tech-driven retail sectors.

• Nice to have: experience in managing and balancing open-to-buy budgets with planning partners.

• Nice to have: exposure to advanced retail analytics software or automated assortment planning tools.
