This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Assess, enhance, and steer the development of Azure environments for clients utilizing managed services.
• Conduct Azure Well-Architected Reviews.
• Recognize architectural risks and identify opportunities for modernization.
• Formulate recommendations for cost optimization.
• Convert customer needs into actionable, well-defined solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, and senior architectural resources.
• Enhance the reliability, security, operational maturity, and cost-effectiveness of client environments.
• Contribute to the creation of reusable architecture standards, assessment templates, and governance practices.
• Assist in defining and validating automation and AI-enabled workflows for architecture assessments.
• Over 5 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, consulting, managed services, or similar technical positions, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Azure Policy, and Azure Cost Management.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience in participating in architecture reviews, design reviews, technical governance, or customer-facing architecture engagements.
• Ability to convert technical and business needs into practical Azure-based solutions.
• Capacity to assess architectural risks and trade-offs, and to develop solution recommendations, implementation strategies, scope definitions, assumptions, dependencies, and effort estimates.
• Proven experience in evaluating cloud environments and pinpointing opportunities to enhance cost efficiency, operational maturity, reliability, and performance.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and documentation abilities.
• Capability to lead technical discussions and articulate architectural recommendations and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Competence to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, and architecture teams.
• Good judgment to recognize when initiatives surpass the scope of managed services and necessitate consulting or senior architectural involvement.
