This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify emerging investment themes and establish and uphold strategic theses to steer sourcing efforts.

• Cultivate relationships within The Cigna Group to gain insights into strategic priorities and initiatives.

• Take ownership of and enhance data-driven processes for managing the deal pipeline.

• Assess investment opportunities through initial outreach, data collection and evaluation, and the development of founder relationships.

• Analyze information from prospective companies as well as internal and external experts.

• Lead critical aspects of investment due diligence, including market analysis, financial assessment, and valuation studies.

• Compose investment memos and various documentation.

• Engage with portfolio companies effectively.

• Assist with overall fund administration tasks.

• Collaborate with internal business leaders and essential stakeholders to promote strategic alignment and ensure successful post-investment execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking.

• A background in healthcare services is preferred.

• A self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.

• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple work streams and engage with various levels of leadership.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to swiftly gather and synthesize information into clear, concise, and actionable messages.

• Proficiency in building meaningful relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders.

• A home internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload is required for remote work.
