This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan, +1 more country.
• Execute incident handling procedures across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
• Conduct basic malware analysis
• Enhance and refine processes for incident detection and the implementation of countermeasures
• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for client management
• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements
• Oversee internal programs or teams
• Work assigned shifts from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday as part of a global follow-the-sun team, totaling 40 hours per week
• Practical experience ranging from 1 to 4 years
• Ability to perform technical tasks independently
• Eagerness to develop and enhance both technical and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management abilities
• Recognized thought leader within the incident response field
• Capacity to cultivate a positive work atmosphere and mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience in conducting or managing incident responses for organizations, addressing targeted threats like Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivism
• Familiarity with various forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to assess the depth and extent of compromises
• Knowledge of system internals necessary for the implementation and execution of countermeasures and remediation
• Understanding of network protocols, proficiency with network analysis tools, and capability to analyze related network logs
• Proficient in performing both static and dynamic malware analysis
• Strong comprehension of targeted attacks and expertise in developing tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations
• Solid grasp of secure network architecture and a robust background in network operations
• Proficient in coding using C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET
• Currently residing in Japan (remote work within Japan will be considered); visa sponsorship is not available
• High-level to native proficiency in Japanese, including writing, is required for direct communication with local clients without the need for peer proofreading
• Proven experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results
• Japanese speakers based in Australia are welcome; visa sponsorship is not available
