This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to formulate strategies and plans aimed at surpassing sales objectives through effective territory management and account development.
• Act as a trusted advisor to existing customers, distributor partners, and internal Abbott teams.
• Establish relationships with hospital staff and pinpoint key purchasing decision-makers.
• Identify and assess potential opportunities and facilitate the progression of sales cycles.
• Review monthly and quarterly sales data and reports to determine account needs.
• Engage in discussions regarding hospital account challenges with the Territory Manager to help meet sales targets.
• Support the development of key opinion leaders to enhance awareness of point-of-care solutions.
• Accurately and punctually complete training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts, and other administrative duties.
• Travel within the designated territory, including occasional overnight stays, to assist customers and advance business objectives.
• Adhere to EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Implement and uphold the effectiveness of Abbott’s Quality System.
• Serve as the primary account management contact for selected customers, ensuring profitability, loyalty, contract renewals, and new solution sales.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0–3 years of experience in sales or a clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and to other U.S. business locations.
• Preferred candidates will reside in LA or Orange County.
• Proven track record in sales or customer-facing roles.
• Experience in diagnostics, point-of-care, laboratory, or capital equipment sales.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
• Exposure to professional sales training programs, such as Challenger or Miller Heiman.
