Assistant Vice President – Auditor, Shared Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement risk-focused audits, investigations, and thematic reviews across various operational domains.

• Assess control design and effectiveness, pinpoint gaps, and assign risk ratings to findings.

• Oversee the audit process, ensuring quality, adherence to timelines, and compliance with audit standards.

• Deliver independent assurance concerning AML, Sanctions, Third-Party Risk, and ORM frameworks.

• Evaluate adherence to CBUAE and international regulatory standards.

• Assist in regulatory engagements and guarantee the prompt resolution of regulatory observations.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across operational processes to identify composite risks.

• Utilize audit analytics, continuous auditing technologies, and RegTech capabilities to improve coverage and operational efficiency.

• Detect emerging risks through proactive monitoring and engagement with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with department heads, business units, and risk teams to facilitate timely risk remediation.

• Influence stakeholders and gain consensus on action plans and enhancements to controls.

• Offer advisory support on process enhancements and product development initiatives.

• Compile and present high-quality audit reports for senior management.

• Ensure that findings are articulated clearly, focused on risk, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

• Assist with reporting to the Board or senior management as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Operations or Internal Audit within the banking sector.

• Extensive exposure to AML, Sanctions, ORM, and Regulatory Compliance audits.

• Experience with CBUAE or similar regulatory frameworks is preferred.

• Familiarity with RegTech, audit analytics, and continuous auditing technologies.

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACAMS, or CISA are preferred.

• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
