Assistant Vice President – API Connect Admin

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise the API Connect administration team, providing strategic guidance and ensuring smooth operations.

• Perform requirements gathering, impact analysis, and development tasks while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Manage the SIT and UAT phases, ensuring comprehensive testing and prompt issue resolution.

• Offer expert support and guidance for critical production challenges, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the API Connect/ESB layers and their integration with the system and business context.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in API management and integration.

• Mentor and nurture team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and enhancement.

• Work with stakeholders to ensure API Connect administration aligns with business goals and objectives.

• Ensure adherence to security protocols and data privacy regulations within the API Connect environment.

• Foster innovation and explore new technologies to improve API Connect administration and overall software delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in API management, with a solid background in API Connect administration.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in API design, development, and integration, particularly with API Connect/ESB layers.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and best practices.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Expertise in API management tools and technologies, including API Connect/ESB platforms.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working across different functions.
