Assistant Superintendent – Concrete Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with operations on designated construction projects

• Engage in the initial setup and procurement for projects

• Evaluate cost estimates and spreads

• Contribute to project sequencing and scheduling

• Monitor job quantities and overall project advancement

• Track productivity of concrete materials, equipment, and labor

• Authorize invoices

• Monitor extra work tickets and change order requests

• Take part in project cost reporting

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality control standards

• Analyze and monitor production metrics

• Review blueprints, plans, and specifications

• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment

• Collaborate with the general contractor and project owner

• Keep an updated inventory log of tools

• Supervise construction timelines and provide guidance on potential delays

• Assist in safety audits and enhancement protocols

• Proficient in tracking job quantities and concrete materials

• Skilled in monitoring productivity of equipment and labor

• Competent in participating in job cost reporting

• Knowledgeable about safety and quality control compliance for projects

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Proficient in producing accurate reports and delivering presentations

• Capable of identifying, assimilating, and interpreting essential information

• Skilled in planning, controlling work, and enhancing methods and outcomes

• Able to decompose and address complex problems

• Efficient in utilizing resources and minimizing costs

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality enhancement

• Proficient in monitoring construction schedules and advising on potential delays

• Capable of communicating safety expectations and ensuring the completion of safety audits

• Energetic, self-driven, collaborative, and dedicated to professional growth

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs

• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
