This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store.
• Contribute to the establishment of the new Bath store and its team, focusing on business growth and profitability.
• Enhance customer service levels, foster team development and retention, and uphold communication and retail standards.
• Act as the Store Manager's deputy in their absence.
• Convey financial objectives and performance metrics to the team.
• Aid sales personnel in meeting individual targets and enhance performance through business development and relationship management.
• Prepare weekly trade reports that include anecdotal insights and highlight missed sales or potential opportunities.
• Monitor costs related to tailoring and take necessary actions when expenses rise.
• Oversee the performance of the sales floor team, ensuring service quality, effective communication, brand awareness, product knowledge, and visual merchandising standards.
• Engage in weekly performance meetings to set goals and implement training schedules.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals.
• Maintain communication with HR and address staff performance issues with managerial support.
• Conduct daily floor inspections to ensure visual excellence and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Guarantee appropriate stock levels, timely replenishment, cycle counts, and adherence to security protocols.
• Manage team deployment, breaks, peak and quiet times, shop floor standards, and store recovery operations.
• Ensure a commercially driven shop floor layout and outstanding presentation.
• Confirm the store opens on time and is securely locked and alarmed.
• Assist with in-store events.
• Set an example in customer service, addressing inquiries and issues promptly and professionally within 24 hours.
• Evaluate customer service standards, resolve issues, and handle customer inquiries and complications.
• Foster the growth of the Bath business through an entrepreneurial mindset and networking.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury retail, preferably in menswear, at Department Manager/Assistant Manager level or as Store Manager of a smaller store.
• Clear, concise, and courteous communication skills.
• A strong passion for tailoring and a desire to enhance tailoring knowledge.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Capability to work under pressure and manage multiple scenarios effectively.
• Immaculate personal presentation.
