Assistant Regional Director – Clinical Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs that adhere to professional nursing standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Assist facilities in ensuring adherence to State and Federal Medicare/Medicaid regulations.

• Spearhead infection prevention and disease control initiatives, including management of outbreaks and immunization programs.

• Provide guidance to Directors of Nursing (DONs) and Administrators regarding Plans of Correction and Allegations of Compliance following surveys.

• Conduct regional training sessions for Directors of Nursing, MDS teams, and interdisciplinary leadership.

• Assess staffing structures, nursing PPD, and clinical workflows to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

• Supervise MDS coordinators, conduct RAC audits, and lead 5-Star quality improvement initiatives.

• Facilitate monthly Regional DON and MDS meetings that concentrate on compliance and performance metrics.

• Aid in risk management, policy formulation, and review of clinical documentation.

• Act as Interim Director of Nursing when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.

• Must possess an active California RN license in good standing.

• Demonstrated strong clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.

• Previous experience in regional or multi-site oversight is preferred.

• Familiarity with CMS/OIG surveys, risk management, and infection prevention is highly desirable.

• MDS certification is greatly preferred.

• Proficiency in PointClickCare (PCC) is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership abilities are essential.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the region is necessary.
