This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the execution of electric vehicle service center construction projects in accordance with client objectives and schedules.
• Develop checklists based on vendor feasibility assessments.
• Oversee onboarding procedures for project team members and vendors.
• Maintain dashboards and monitoring tools for project advancement, milestones, and performance indicators.
• Coordinate purchase orders, manage document control, and facilitate project communications.
• Organize regular meetings and ensure timely information dissemination among stakeholders.
• Monitor and update critical project milestones to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Aid in field coordination and problem-solving during construction.
• Ensure project documentation is thorough, organized, and readily accessible.
• Assist in commissioning and project close-out tasks, including tracking punch lists and final documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to execute projects effectively.
• Contribute to project reporting and status updates for both internal and client stakeholders.
• Support the onboarding of newly engaged vendors and team members.
• Manage utility connections and permitting processes associated with EV infrastructure.
• Help oversee project budgets and monitor expenses against forecasts.
• Track and report on safety compliance and site conditions throughout the construction phase.
• Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to integrate EV charging systems and operational technologies.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and knowledge sharing.
• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction project management or similar roles.
• Prior experience in creating checklists from vendor feasibility reports is preferred.
• Familiarity with EV infrastructure or service center construction is advantageous.
• Experience supporting the construction of service centers, transportation hubs, or infrastructure-heavy facilities.
• Knowledge of permitting and utility coordination processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management software such as Procore.
• Experience with dashboard tools like Power BI or Smartsheet is a plus.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities and adjusting to evolving project requirements.
• Comfortable working in both field and office environments, with occasional travel as necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and adeptness in managing documentation across various projects.
• Understanding of EV systems, charging infrastructure, or fleet operations is beneficial.
