
Assistant Project Manager β Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in construction management initiatives within a PMO framework
β’ Oversee project timelines, task durations, completion status, sequencing, lookaheads, delays, risks, and opportunities
β’ Aid in construction administration tasks, such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders
β’ Support the procurement and ordering of electrical, lighting, and HVAC equipment
β’ Evaluate construction plans for thoroughness and adherence to best practices
β’ Conduct quality assurance evaluations of shop drawings and submissions
β’ Perform site visits to assess construction progress and ensure compliance with as-built conditions, contract drawings, and specifications
β’ Engage in store setup and build-out, overseeing temporary laborers with tasks including unloading, unboxing, installing fixtures, and stocking supplies
β’ Maintain communication with vendors as directed by the Project Manager
β’ Compile daily and weekly project status reports for the Project Manager's review
β’ Participate in meetings with consultants and vendors, documenting minutes and following up on action items
β’ Manage project turnover documentation, recordkeeping, retention, and closeout procedures
β’ Uphold the LaserAway Brand Standards in both virtual and in-person engagements
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or at least 2 years of pertinent experience
β’ Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation abilities
β’ Proficient in Google Suite Applications, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office Suite
β’ Fundamental understanding of permitting processes and construction best practices
β’ Knowledge of commercial tenant improvement construction techniques and general building codes
β’ Capability to perform and supervise general labor tasks, including loading and unloading boxes and equipment, and mounting various fixtures
β’ Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
β’ Strong attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem-solving
β’ Competence to carry out assigned tasks and responsibilities independently
β’ Capacity to climb ladders for roof access and lift boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20%
β’ Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 (Exempt)
