Assistant Professor – Social Work

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Instruct in your specific areas of expertise.

• Uphold the integrity of course and instructional programs.

• Ensure that instructional delivery is in harmony with the University’s mission, vision, and student experience.

• Foster an academic environment characterized by mutual respect and consideration for each individual's dignity.

• Contribute to curriculum development for both residential and distance education settings.

• Participate in research, scholarship, or creative activities as anticipated by the relevant college or school.

• Provide services to students and the professional discipline.

• Teach within the faculty member’s areas of expertise.

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University.

• Engage in personal spiritual growth within a biblically-informed Christian perspective.

• A doctorate or terminal master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field is preferred, though not mandatory.

• A professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred but not required.

• Assistant Professors are contracted for a duration of 10, 11, or 12 months (30, 33, or 36 load hours, respectively).
