Assistant Professor, Public Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Instruct public health courses while maintaining expertise in pedagogy and subject matter.

• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for a diverse range of learners.

• Uphold course and program practices that align with compliance and accreditation standards.

• Involve in curriculum oversight, shared governance, and enhance the student experience.

• Serve on committees and participate in community initiatives that advance program outreach and university objectives.

• Attend program meetings and advisory boards to incorporate best practices and strategic initiatives.

• Contribute to programmatic strategies that enhance program quality, student engagement, and success.

• Support both undergraduate and graduate public health programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Ph.D. or DrPH in public health, epidemiology, or a related field from a CEPH-accredited program is required.

• Experience in online higher education is mandatory.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining courses is essential.

• Must have experience working in a technology-driven environment.

• Experience with CEPH programmatic accreditation is required.

• Ability to engage with a diverse student population is essential.

• Experience with non-traditional adult learners is necessary.

• Strong knowledge in public health and/or healthcare administration disciplines is preferred.

• A background check is required.

• Travel is mandatory at least once a year to attend the annual Commencement ceremony (if held onsite).

• A curriculum vita is required.

• A cover letter detailing online and/or onsite teaching experience for a diverse student body is necessary.

• A statement outlining research and scholarship experience is required.
