Assistant Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Dispatch routine account statements to counterparties in line with established work procedures, ensuring the relevant Prime collector is included in reconciliation communications when transactions are facilitated through a broker.

• Guarantee that cash/credit applications for designated accounts are processed promptly within Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Relay customer and counterparty disputes to the appropriate underwriting, operations, broker, and other stakeholder departments, and monitor for swift resolution.

• Report reconciliation challenges to management following the defined escalation matrix.

• Reconcile and prepare payments for broker commissions and reinsurance, verify balances with counterparties, and assign items to Accounts Payable for processing.

• Cultivate relationships with designated counterparties and serve as the primary contact for escalations and reconciliations.

• Record payments received from assigned counterparties and ensure accurate and timely cash/credit application, including deductions for broker commissions.

• Conduct regular reconciliations and obtain lists of agreed and unagreed balances based on counterparty risk assessments.

• Follow up on payments for agreed balances and ensure that amounts owed to ADNIC are collected without delay.

• Confirm unagreed balances with the underwriting and operations teams and resolve them through escalation with stakeholders and management.

• Keep a dispute register that documents the reasons for disputes, actions taken, and progress towards resolution.

• Precisely upload reinsurance treaties, MDP, and XOL to the sub-ledger after acquiring data from the reinsurance department.

• Assist with balance confirmation processes for audits and regularly obtain balance confirmations based on counterparty risk.

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or equivalent
