Assistant General Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete commercial contracts function from start to finish

• Provide legal counsel across all business sectors

• Develop legal processes and playbooks to facilitate efficient growth

• Draft and negotiate intricate enterprise SaaS and AI agreements

• Handle privacy compliance and data governance matters

• Act as an integrated legal partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams

• Offer guidance on commercial, corporate, employment, compliance, and strategic legal issues

• Report directly to the General Counsel

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school (preferred candidate qualification)

• Active membership in the bar

• Experience at a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in transactional or commercial law

• Extensive knowledge in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

• Capability to work independently

• Skill in prioritizing competing demands

• Experience within fast-growing technology environments, SaaS/AI business models, and data privacy regulations is preferred
